MW Carpentry and Design is a Cotswolds based company specialising in the sale of handmade furniture, bespoke original pieces and restoration. 

 

A LITTLE ABOUT MARK

 

Mark left school at 16 to do an apprenticeship in cabinet making, furniture finishing and upholstery. When this was completed he sought a job in furniture restoration at a well known restoration workshop in Cirencester and stayed there for 13 years. With bringing life back to well loved furniture a big passion, he now runs his own workshop in Cirencester and hopes to continue for many years to come.

Our online shop offers hand made pieces made in our own Cotswold workshop, up-cycled items and fully restored antiques. Products are constantly being added so please keep checking back.

Whether you are looking for a new bespoke piece of furniture, or to have a much loved antique piece brought back to life, we can meet your needs.

For bespoke furniture, we will discuss your requirements so that we can understand your vision. You will be involved in each step of the design and build so that your original vision can be brought to life.

With restoration our aim is to bring furniture and architecture back to its original glory, whilst preserving the beauty and the patina that is unique to each piece. Using our knowledge, skills and experience combined with a love for traditional methods, we can determine what needs to be done, and perhaps more crucially what should be left alone. This means that your piece is given a new lease of life whilst retaining its original look and function.
